This is a drupal question asked by ElegantSpoon on 26 April 2010
First post here I’m really in need of some help. I have installed drupal onto my linux webspace hosted by fasthost and I couldn’t initially get drupal to work at all but once I removed the .htaccess file (Without realising) it all worked fine.
I then setup gallery 2 in a folder and used the same MySQL database and gallery 2 works ok. I am now trying to integrate the two parts.
I’ve added the gallery module and activated the four parts of that. The instructions then say to go to the installation part and I start this process but can’t go any further because it complains my php.ini limit size is 20mb and should be 24mb.
I have tried finding this and I couldn’t find this file anywhere. I did a search and it said to put a few bits of info into a .htaccess file so I did this and put it in the root and the site wouldn’t work at all!
I then found the php.ini file on my system in the original drupal folder so I transfered that over with the limit size at 24mb but it does completely nothing.
Could someone please please help with this because I’m making the site for my photos and a gallery is essential.
If theres any other gallery software available that would be easier to integrate with drupal or thats drupal specific I would be happy to use that as well.
